A tasting of six outstanding Bordeaux wines, led by guest speaker William Gee, member of the East India Club Wine Committee.
The tasting, beginning with a Champagne reception, took members and guests on a tour of the Bordeaux region with its famous river dividing the region into 'Two Banks' of the river. It was an immersive presentation held in the Birley Room, covering climate, soil, methods and how to taste and identify characteristics of each truly outstanding wine.
